Microtubular Heaters – Advanced Performance in Compact Dimensions
Microtubular heaters represent the most technologically advanced expression of compacted MgO electric heating elements. Designed for applications where installation space is limited and thermal demands are high, they combine compact dimensions with outstanding performance.
These heating elements deliver thermal efficiency in space-constrained environments, achieving power outputs of up to 9 W/cm² and operating temperatures of up to 600 °C. Their design allows dimensions to be precisely tailored to the available installation space, ensuring optimal integration into complex systems.
For effective heat transfer, microtubular heaters must be pressed directly against the working surface, allowing heat to be delivered exactly where it is needed.
Originally developed for hot runner systems and plastic injection molding, microtubular heaters have since proven their versatility and are now widely used across a broad range of industrial applications requiring precise, reliable, and high-temperature heating in compact assemblies.
Key Features
- Advanced MgO Compaction Technology : Compacted magnesium oxide insulation ensures excellent thermal efficiency and long-term stability.
- Stainless Steel Casing : Robust stainless steel sheath provides high mechanical strength and resistance to demanding industrial conditions.
- High Operating Temperature :Capable of reaching casing temperatures up to 750 °C, depending on the application.
- Standard Power Supply : Designed for 230V operation as standard, with customization available on request.
