Who is Caldor Heat Engineering SRL?
Caldor Heat Engineering SRL is a European manufacturer of industrial electric heating solutions, specializing in standard and custom-engineered heating elements for industrial applications.
Where is Caldor Heat Engineering SRL located?
Our headquarters and production facilities are located in Buftea, Ilfov County, Romania, serving customers across Europe and internationally.
How can I place an order?
You can place an order by submitting an order through www.caldor.ro, sending a request to office@caldorheat.com, or contacting our sales team by phone. For custom or engineered products, written confirmation is required before production.
Do you accept custom or special orders?
Yes. We specialize in custom-made and project-based heating solutions manufactured according to client specifications and confirmed technical documentation.
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For standard products, no minimum order quantity applies. For custom products, MOQ may apply depending on design complexity and materials.
Can I cancel an order?
Standard products may be canceled before shipment. Custom / Special Orders may be canceled within 48 business hours from confirmation. After this period, cancellation is no longer possible due to production scheduling.
Do you provide technical drawings?
Yes. For custom or engineered products, we provide technical drawings, sketches, or datasheets for review and approval before production.
Is technical drawing approval mandatory?
Yes. Production starts only after written technical approval (email confirmation or signed drawing) is received. Once approved, we are not responsible for errors resulting from client-approved specifications.
Can specifications be changed after approval?
Changes after approval may require redesign, affect price and delivery time, or be rejected if production has already started. All changes must be confirmed in writing.
In which currency are prices displayed?
Romania: RON. All other countries: EUR. USD or any other currency is NOT accepted.
Are prices VAT included?
Prices include VAT where applicable, in accordance with Romanian and EU legislation. For intra-community EU deliveries, VAT treatment follows applicable VAT rules.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer (invoice or proforma invoice), cash on delivery (Romania only, standard products), and cash payment upon pickup (Romania only).
Is advance payment required?
Yes, for custom / Special Orders, an advance payment of 50% is mandatory. Production begins only after advance payment is received.
What is the production time?
Standard products (in stock): up to 3 working days. Custom products: 3–40 working days depending on complexity. Transport time is not included.
Can you meet urgent deadlines?
In some cases, expedited production may be possible. Please contact our sales team to evaluate feasibility.
Who organizes transport?
Transport can be organized by Caldor Heat Engineering SRL (insured transport only) or by the client using a carrier of their choice.
Is transport insured?
Yes, when organized by Caldor (insurance is mandatory). If organized by the client, Caldor bears no liability for transport-related issues.
Is free delivery available?
No. Free delivery is not offered.
Do you deliver inside buildings?
No. Delivery is made only to the entrance of the building.
Can I return a product?
Only standard (off-the-shelf) products are eligible for return according to Romanian law. Custom-made / Special Orders are strictly non-returnable.
What is the warranty period?
Products benefit from a limited warranty of 6–12 months, depending on product type. Warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, or operation outside specifications.
Do your products comply with EU standards?
Yes. Our products are manufactured in compliance with applicable EU directives and standards, including CE requirements where applicable.
What tolerances apply?
Unless otherwise agreed in writing: dimensional tolerance ±15% and wattage tolerance ±12.5%.

The client is responsible for all specifications approved in writing. We manufacture strictly according to approved documentation.
What happens in case of payment errors?
Incorrect or incomplete payments are not accepted and may be subject to formal recovery procedures in accordance with Romanian and EU law.
